I wrote to Ted last night to ask about his missing the vote on the auditing the Fed.
Many have asked me for a comment. Here's the email I sent to Ted:

Ted, can I get a comment on the missing of the fed vote.
Tons of comments.
If you can let's spend five minutes on the phone on air tomorrow or just a comment from you in writing explaining why you would miss something you are for?
Thanks.

Sure.
I strongly support auditing the Fed. Indeed, I was an original co-sponsor of Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bill. Unfortunately, it was clear early on that yesterday's vote wasn't going to succeed (it fell 7 votes short). And, at the same time that the vote was scheduled, I had longstanding commitments to be in New Hampshire -- for a Second Amendment rally, and a 1500- person State of the Union town hall. If my vote would have made a difference in it passing, I would have cancelled my campaign events to be there. Because the vote was not going to succeed, I honored my commitments to be with the men and women of New Hampshire.
As President, I look forward to signing Audit the Fed legislation into law.

We talked some more about this on radio. Watch the discussion below.

GLENN: So last night, in fact, I just posted this on Facebook. I just got an email in from Ted Cruz. Last night, I wrote to him at -- let's see -- 12:02 a.m. because I got home from the State of the Union, tucked the kids into bed, and then started reading some email and some news. And one of the things was the Audit the Fed vote that happened yesterday. And it fell seven votes shy of passing. And I know this is a big thing with Ted Cruz, and some people were on Facebook last night going, "Glenn Beck, ask him. I notice you're not saying anything about his Audit the Fed Bill that he missed."
I'm like, "I didn't even know it happened today. So I'll ask Ted." So I wrote to him last night, and I attached the emails and the Facebook post.
12:02 a.m. Ted, can I get a comment on the missing of the Fed vote? Tons of comments. If you can spend five minutes on the phone, on the air tomorrow, or just a comment from you in writing explaining why you would miss something that you were really for. Thanks, Glenn.

So anybody who wanted a comment on that, there it is from the horse's mouth.
PAT: Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
GLENN: Or just don't. Because that would be weird.
