Could a prophecy from two and a half thousand years ago foretell the death of America at the hands of the Deep State?
Glenn recently had author Michael Rush on his show to answer that exact question, and the evidence is compelling. For those who are unfamiliar with Ezra's Eagle prophecy, it originates from the Apocryphal book 2 Esdras written by the Jewish priest, Ezra, in the 5th century B.C.
In the book, Ezra describes a vision, which depicted a three-headed eagle flying out of the sea. An angel informs him that the number and length of the feathers relate to a succession of leaders of a powerful nation that will rule during the end times. For many years it was believed that the prophecy described Rome and its emperors, but it never quite added up.
That was until recently.
While studying the book of 2 Esdras, Micheal Rush noticed an uncanny resemblance between the order of the feathers and the U.S. Presidents that, if true, suggests that the "end times" are even closer than we might have imagined. Now, Rush is the first to admit that his interpretation may be wrong and requires a leap of faith, and ultimately, there is a lot of room for personal interpretation.
What do you think? Is the prophecy talking about America, or was it Rome all along? Does it point towards an approaching End Times? Or is there a good reason it is considered apocryphal?
