Amazon: Turntable Best-Selling Audio Device This Christmas
Oh, the irony. According to Amazon, more people got online and bought a turntable—--you know, those large devices invented decades ago that play music off of expensive vinyl records—than any other piece of audio equipment this Christmas. Notably, the Jensen turntable beat out speaker systems that use wi-fi technology to play music off of your phone, which can easily be streamed from the Internet for free. Sheep Finally Sheared After 6 Years of Being Lost in the Wilderness
A sheep named Sheila has been found after being lost in the Australian wilderness for six years. It was found on the side of a road unable to move because of the amount of wool in its fleece. Sheila has now finally been sheared. Sheila’s 46 pounds of wool fell short of the Australian fleece record, held by Chris the sheep, whose fleece weighed 90.3 pounds last year. MORE
German Authorities Accused of Cover- up in Mass Sexual Assault by Hundreds of Migrants
German authorities are being accused of covering up a mass sexual assault at Cologne train station on New Years Eve, during which Arab and North African migrants molested dozens of women after fireworks were thrown into a crowd. At least 35 women were subjected to sexual assault during the subsequent rampage, with one report of rape. Others were targeted for theft, with at least 80 victims in total. MORE
New Obama Executive Action to Shred Immigration Caps
President Barack Obama has announced another brazen, illegal executive action. As Americans gathered with loved ones to wish each other a more prosperous New Year, the president issued an edict to put that longed-for prosperity further out of reach.
