If you've listened to Glenn's program this past week or have been following business news, you've probably heard of the new AI technology, ChatGBT.
Recently launched on November 30, 2022, ChatGBT uses artificial intelligence to generate writing based on a given prompt in a style as realistically human as possible. As Glenn continues to warn, this technology become so sophisticated that it can replace human employees across an array of industries.
Out of curiosity, I created a ChatGBT account and input the following prompt: "Write an article for glennbeck.com in Glenn Beck's voice about the danger of Marxism in American universities." ChatGBT generated this piece within seconds:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is with great concern that I write to you today about the growing threat of Marxism in our American universities. This dangerous ideology has infiltrated our institutions of higher learning and is being taught to our young people as if it were a viable alternative to our constitutional republic.
Marxism is a flawed and discredited philosophy that has been responsible for the deaths of millions of people and the oppression of countless others. It is based on the false premise that society can be improved by centralizing power in the hands of the state and taking from the successful to give to the less fortunate.
But what Marxists fail to understand is that such a system strips individuals of their freedoms and dignity, leading to widespread poverty and suffering. The history of Marxist regimes is one of violence, tyranny, and repression. The Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela, and countless other countries have all demonstrated the failure of Marxist ideology.
It is deeply troubling that Marxist ideas are being taught in our universities and promoted as a solution to America's problems. This is not only intellectually dishonest but also a threat to our freedoms and the future of our nation.
Marxism is not a viable option for America, and it is our responsibility to expose it for what it truly is. We must educate ourselves and our children about the dangers of this ideology and work to prevent it from spreading.
We must also stand up against the forces that seek to undermine our constitutional republic and the principles that have made America great. We must defend the individual freedoms and liberties that our Founding Fathers so wisely established, and ensure that future generations have the opportunity to live in a free and prosperous nation.
We must act now, before it is too late, to protect America from the threat of Marxism. Let us never forget the lessons of history and the importance of individual liberty and freedom.

The piece does, at times, sound "robotic." However, this technology is "self-learning." It continues to become increasingly complex and nuanced the more it is used. Within a short amount of time, it is likely this technology could produce a piece that is indistinguishable from Glenn's voice.
What does that mean for you?
Are you confident that your employer will protect your position rather than replace you with this more "cost-effective technology?" Glenn has already taken a stand: "I will tell you that everything we do is made by hand. We will NOT sell out and have our shows written by machines. We will do our own research and dig deep." Sooner or later, we will all have to assess how we will respond to AI as it continues to become more integrated into our daily lives.
