The simmering story about Donald Trump, Jr. and his meeting with a Kremlin-connected attorney came to a boil last night, turning a he-said-she-said story into something with teeth. A report now says there is an email from this agent to Trump Jr. saying the Russian government wanted to share information about Hillary Clinton to help aid his father's campaign --- which goes a long way toward proving collusion.
There is reason to pause, however. While both The New York Times and CNN are confirming the contents of the email, the email itself has yet to be produced. Tuesday on radio, Glenn made sure to underscore how important that fact is.
"This is so critical that I don't think we take anybody's word. We don't assume this email is real, exists, or even says this because I believe the consequences of this email are astronomical. So when they produce the email, then we can have the conversation about what the ramifications are," Glenn said.
The fact that Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort denied being in the meeting up until three weeks ago --- and how their explanation keeps morphing --- is cause for concern. All three were involved and none had declared this meeting with a foreign national on their security clearances, which would have been a felony had they not amended their forms three weeks ago.
Editor's Note: This story has some updated information confirming the existence of the email. There is a new story up on glennbeck.com with the emerging details.
