GLENN: So in a report from Mike Allen, sources said that Steve Bannon's first words to the Republican members was that they had, quote, no choice, but to vote for the health care bill of President Donald Trump.
Quote, guys, look, this is not a discussion, this is not a debate. You have no choice, but to vote for this bill, end quote.
PAT: Wow.
GLENN: A lot of people didn't take kindly to that.
STU: No? You don't think an elected representative of the United States government is going to go in there and just bend over like a Breitbart editor for Steve Bannon? That's surprising.
GLENN: Now, Steve Bannon has apparently told the president to keep a crap list. And I'm cleaning that up. Of people who voted against it.
PAT: Oh, good. Just like Barack Obama. That's great.
GLENN: And Nixon. And Nixon. An enemy's list.
PAT: It's probably worth noting who held firm in this.
GLENN: It is. Who is on this list?
PAT: There's some great people on that list of guys who just said no because this is not good.
GLENN: Badge of honor.
PAT: It's not a good bill.
STU: And, by the way, it's not -- as we pointed out, 15 conservatives, Freedom Caucus members, 18 non-Freedom Caucus Republicans. Okay? So it was actually more people who were not in the Freedom Caucus, even though that's what you'll hear about all day today.
But good names, I mean, Dave Brat, Jim Jordan, Justin Amash, Louie Gohmert, Mark Meadows.
PAT: Great. Louie Gohmert, always there.
STU: Mo Brooks, who still has my favorite interview moment of all time.
PAT: Yeah, we should play that.
GLENN: Is that the one he says -- do you have an economy degree? Yeah, a degree in economics? Yes, actually.
PAT: With honors.
STU: Highest honors, yes.
Thomas Massie is in there as well. Just a great group of people. There are some -- we have to remember, there are some holding the line, and that's good.
GLENN: And we need to support them.
PAT: Yeah.
GLENN: Because they are now on a White House enemy's list.
PAT: Yeah.
GLENN: Support those that stood up and had real backbone.
