Something is going on with Megyn Kelly. That's what Glenn speculated Friday on The Glenn Beck Program.
"I personally think she's either doing the masterful game of negotiation for her contract, which is up right after the election with Fox News," Glenn said. "She was on the cover of Vanity Fair twice. She was on the cover of New York magazine. She was just on the cover of Variety magazine. She's putting herself out there saying, "I'm available soon."
Glenn also made note of Kelly's inherent goodness, which was on full display during a recent interview with Katie Couric.
"I said, 'When the postmortem is done on the coverage of Donald Trump, wherever this race goes, let's make sure we're on the side of the angels.' And I am proud to tell you that our show has not taken those pressers," Kelly said. "We have not taken his campaign events wall-to-wall. We don't wallpaper the show with a Donald Trump campaign event. Why? Because we don't do that with the other candidates. So it's not fair. And it's not about --- yes, we all have to worry about numbers, to some extent, that's the reality of TV news in 2016 --- but we also have to worry about our souls and journalism."
"She is so good. So good," Glenn said. "I think . . . she's probably the new Barbara Walters or the new Diane Sawyer, don't you think?"
