One of Hillary Clinton's biggest campaign platforms --- not to mention career platforms --- has been women's rights. Yet, one of her closest advisors worked for over a decade with a radical Muslim journal that promotes the subjugation of women under Sharia law.
"One of Clinton's biggest accomplishments listed on her campaign website is her support for the UN women's conference in Beijing in 1995, when she declared, 'Women's rights are human rights.' However, soon after that 'historic and transformational' 1995 event, as Clinton recently described it, her top aide Huma Abedin published articles in a Saudi journal taking Clinton's feminist platform apart, piece by piece. At the time, Abedin was the assistant editor of the Journal for Muslim Minority Affairs working under her mother, who remains editor-in-chief," Glenn said Monday on his radio program, quoting from the New York Post.

A 1996 article written by Abedin's mother argued that "single moms, working moms and gay couples with children should not be recognized as families." Additionally, the article stated that revealing clothing "directly translates into unwanted results of sexual promiscuity and indirectly promotes violence against women" and that working mothers demonstrate a "lack of respect of womanhood and motherhood."
Abedin did not apologize for her mother's beliefs, instead stating, "My mother was traveling around the world at those international women's conferences talking about women empowering, and it was normal." she said.
"She sounds like somebody I want in the White House. How about you?" Glenn said.
"She's been a thorn in the side of Hillary the whole time," Co-host Pat Gray said.
"And there is something wrong," Glenn said.
"Yeah, because she just won't pull that thorn out, and she sticks by her. It's interesting," Pat said.
Abedin's husband, former congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY), was famously caught sexting another woman with nude pictures in 2013.

"The fact that someone as untrustworthy as Anthony Weiner is this close to someone who can be president of the United States is terrifying. I don't care if it's through marriage. I don't care what it is. I mean, this guy is insane," Co-host Stu Burguiere said.
The news about Abedin's association with a radical Muslim publication that supports the Muslim Brotherhood should be enough to warrant her removal from Hillary Clinton's campaign --- but it won't be.
"These guys just get worse and worse and worse every time you open this up. Every time you look at one of these candidates, it's worse than you thought it was," Glenn said.
