Has Brad Thor boarded the Trump Train? He recently posted an article on Hot Air titled Brad Thor: Rethinking the #NeverTrump Position.
"He leads us to believe that, 'Yes, I mean, while I'm not huge into the Trump thing, he's going to vote for him instead of Hillary,'" Co-host Pat Gray said Wednesday on The Glenn Beck Program.
Thor spoke out virulently against Trump recently on Glenn's radio program.
"He said he's a South American dictator in the way . . . I don't know about you, but I never vote for a South American dictator," Glenn said.
So what changed for Thor? Is it time to throw him under the bus if he's on board the Trump Train? Thor joined the radio program to explain.
"Now, Brad, you are being positioned in the news today as supporting . . . moving and starting to lend support and say that you will vote for Donald Trump. A guy you described on this program as the makings of a Hugo Chavez or a South American dictator," Glenn said.
"Yes, correct. I said that about him. I am not supporting him, and I'm not voting for him. What I did was, is I compared the state of freedom, of liberty in the United States, to very serious cancer. And I said now, we're out of the conventions and everything. We're looking at two potential drugs," Thor said.
What caused this change in perspective? It boils down to Thor's main concern: The Supreme Court.
"Guys, we are going to be storming a beachhead in four years. And that beachhead can be fortified by four years of Hillary Clinton, including her SCOTUS appointments," Thor said.
"Oh, my God," Co-host Stu explained. "You knew all that before. When you were calling him a dictator, you knew all that."
"Stop. Stop. Stop. I need to get a word in here," Glenn said. "Brad, he's surrounding himself with people that will make it a South American dictatorship."
Ultimately, Glenn asked the $64,000 question: "Does Hillary have an equal chance of turning into a dictator in four years that Trump does?"
"No. Trump has a far greater chance," Thor said.
"Hello?" Glenn said.
