A CBS news investigation found that the Obama State Department is sending hundreds of millions of dollars to save mosques overseas --- to the tune of $770 million. The news has outraged taxpayer advocates and raised enormous questions about the U.S. potentially aiding terror groups with U.S. tax dollars.
"I got news for you, I don't want to refurbish churches in Christian countries. That's their business. That's their country. That's their church," Glenn said Thursday on The Glenn Beck Program. "Refurbishing mosques goes even further. Stop with the political correctness. Nobody is going to believe you -- well, we love Muslims, we fixed your mosque. They're laughing at you. They're laughing at you."
Imagine the uproar if those dollars --- dollars the U.S. government doesn't actually have --- were spent refurbishing churches or synagogues.
"If somebody suggested that they refurbish Christian churches in America? They'd be screaming, "separation of church and state," Co-host Pat Gray said.
This is an outrage and insult to American taxpayers who are struggling to make ends meet, particularly those who lost loved ones in terrorist attacks like 9/11 and San Bernardino.
"Every single citizen in America has to run their home or their business and stay in the black. There's lots of things in the last year that we have cut, that people have come to me and said, 'Glenn, we got to have that.' Okay, well, do you have the money? Because I don't. So we're going to have to cut it," Glenn said.
"What the hell are we doing?"
