The Christian Post is not a right-wing magazine. For the first time ever in their history they have come out with a statement on the political climate and a recommendation on the president of the United States. For the first time ever.
Basically, what they say is that Donald Trump is a con man and no Christian can believe what he's saying. In fact, they say he's a dangerous, dangerous guy. They say he's not a Christian, and don't understand how Christians believe he is. They also say it's important at this time to have someone who reflects our Christian values.
A lot of us are violating what we have always done in the past. I have never endorsed anybody. I have never felt compelled to endorse anybody. I'm telling you that I believe we're in such a critical crossroads that I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. I also believe Ted Cruz is the guy we have been waiting for. He is the guy that I think has been raised for this particular time. And others are finding it to be a moral responsibility. Silence in the face of evil is evil itself.
I know people don't want to hear this. I know there are a lot of people out there who will just shout it down and call us names, etc., but please, America, please, I beg this audience to listen quietly and put aside any kind of anger that you might have. We never make a good decision based in anger.
Ted Cruz, he's the only one that can win, not only against Trump, but against Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Those are not my words. Those are the polls that were released today. Cruz beats Trump head-on, and he beats Hillary and Bernie. No other candidate running does that.
In fact, Donald Trump in the same polls released today does not beat Hillary Clinton. And they haven't even begun to open up on this guy. As Stu pointed out, most people don't even know about any of Trump's scandals yet. When the American people understand his scandals and all the things the Christian Post outlined, it's over.
I urge you to read the Christian Post article, urging Christians to back away from Donald Trump, before casting your vote.
