Back in October, Glenn hired media and technology entrepreneur Jonathan Schreiber. Since then, he’s played a key role in shaping the future of Mercury Radio Arts (as Head of Strategy and Special Projects) and TheBlaze (as an advisor). Today, Glenn publicly announced that Jonathan would be taking on an even bigger role – President of Mercury Radio Arts.
"I personally recruited Jonathan to help take our company to the next level,” Glenn said. “Since joining Mercury, he has played an integral role in both the strategy and execution at Mercury Radio Arts and my overall business philosophy and approach. He is a trusted advisor and this title reflects the leadership position he has and will continue to assume in this new era for both me and our business."
As President, Jonathan will oversee Mercury's divisions including digital, radio and publishing and its continued growth as a company that creates film, television and digital content across different genres beyond politics and current events. He will also continue to serve as an advisor to TheBlaze, the news, information and entertainment network led by CEO Betsy Morgan.
"I did not join Mercury because I am a fan (though I am).Nor did I join because Glenn is a visionary (he is). I joined because the future of media is the same as the past – the value of the tribe,” Jonathan said. “There is no-one in the world that I am aware of who has a tribe as dedicated to him and he to them. I am honored to be given the opportunity to represent our collective values and principles to and for our tribe in all that we do."
Jonathan brings years of experience in the technology, mobile and entertainment business to Mercury including a successful track record as an entrepreneur at a variety of leading companies and start-ups.

And at Island Def Jam Recordings, Jonathan oversaw the company’s strategy and business development for new business such as, iTunes, fan clubs, mobile products and video games.
He serves as a board member at Mobilestorm, mPulse Mobile and as an advisor to Accomplice.io where he helped close a lead investment by WME/IMG.
