Israel has been one of, if not the most important ally in the history of The United States. The relationship has been almost a sacred bond between the two nations - until now. To demonstrate just how bad it's gotten -- a report that America was now merely 'neutral' in its stance towards Israel was actually met with a sarcastic positive reaction on radio today. Truth is this administration is vehemently anti-Israel in its policies and it's helping lead to the rise of a scary movement in the Middle East.
Glenn said, "I spoke to somebody last night who just returned from the Middle East, very high level government official, and I'm going to let them speak for themselves. They will be on the show in the coming weeks. But they said that everyone they met with in the Middle East, everyone, they said, how are you going to react if if Israel strikes Iran and Iran strikes back? How are you going to react? And without exception in every country they were in the Middle East, the leadership of those countries said, "Well, now that the United States is neutral on Israel, we're not going to get involved.'"
Uh, what?
Glenn continued, "The message has been sent: 'We are not a protector of Israel; we are neutral in this; you guys settle it, whatever happens.' The game is about to change."
Meanwhile, things in the rest of the Middle East are not going well.
"Russia and China are backing Syria and they say they are stopping a totalitarian sweep in the Middle East. Now, wait a minute. Hang on just a second. Because Syria is a totalitarian government. They're gunning down their own citizens. But as we are starting to ramp up, the sides are being drawn," Glenn said on radio this morning.
"China and Russia have both said if anybody acts against Syria, it's war with them."
Nothing could possibly go wrong here, right?
